Kona is a 6-year-old female Cane Corso mix, weighing in at a large size. She has a beautiful short coat in shades of red, chestnut, and orange. Kona is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, making her ready for her forever home. Located in Mansfield, OH, she needs a dedicated adopter who understands her unique needs and is ready to provide training.

About Kona

Kona came to us from a neglect situation, alongside several other dogs and her ten puppies. Previously used in a breeding capacity, she spent far too much time in a filthy environment. Despite her past, Kona is a sweet companion who needs some training to help her adjust to life outside of those conditions. At about 6 years old, she can be a bit nervous and skittish in new situations. However, once she gets used to her surroundings, her affectionate side shines through. Food motivates her, and she loves giving kisses when she’s comfortable. Kona lacks proper socialization from her earlier years, so she would thrive in a patient home committed to her training. Given her size and strong nature, she’s best suited for a household without small children. Kona tends to be dominant with other dogs, so she might feel more at ease as the only pet. She does not get along with cats. This sweet girl deserves a loving home and a chance at a better life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
