About Ryder
Ryder is a charming Lab mix who recently returned to the rescue after his adopter fell ill. He is around 5-6 years old and weighs between 60-65 lbs, making him a sturdy companion. Originally found as a stray in rural Tennessee, we’ve come to know him as a loving and well-behaved dog with a calm demeanor. Ryder enjoys his walks and does not pull on the leash, although he can display some leash aggression with other dogs. He seems to get along fine when off-leash and may prefer to be the only dog at home. He thrives on companionship and feels comfortable following his people around the house. Ryder does experience some anxiety in new environments, but once he settles in, his warm personality shines through. An experienced owner would be ideal for helping him transition successfully into a new home. This devoted boy is ready to be a loyal and loving companion for someone willing to give him a chance. Forever Home Rescue New England, located in Medfield, MA, has all dogs vaccinated, up to date on shots, and spayed or neutered. Ryder is house trained, and his adoption fee is $200.
