Meet Potato, a cheerful 4.5-year-old male Boxer/Pit mix who originally came from the Bisbee Animal Shelter as a puppy. Unfortunately, he was recently surrendered due to some destructive behaviors in his home, but he is eager to start fresh with a loving adopter. Potato is full of energy and affection, making him a great companion for those seeking a loyal sidekick. He’s friendly with people and has thrived in homes with children aged 2 to 15. After a proper introduction, he's shown he can get along with other friendly dogs too. While he hasn't lived with cats, a slow introduction would be advisable for any feline friends in the household. Although Potato is crate-trained, he could benefit from basic training to help manage his anxiety when left alone. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys car rides, making him a versatile buddy for all your adventures. This goofy boy is ready to find his perfect owner and get started on a new chapter together.
