About Toast
Start your journey together! Apply now. Toast is a shy guy searching for a caring, patient person or family who can help him blossom with confidence and shower him with the affection he truly deserves. Since arriving at the shelter, Toast has already made remarkable strides, becoming much more comfortable and ready to continue his progress in a loving home all his own. Friends at the shelter say that while Toast can be a bit nervous and headshy at first, he always wags his tail when being leashed and enjoys gentle petting. He’s relaxed and playful in the yard, showing how well he’s settled and how far he’s come. Toast is now a gentle walker, unreactive and calm on leash, happy to take treats and easy to return to his kennel. Despite lingering shyness, he impresses those around him with his sweet nature and good manners. With more experience outside the shelter, Toast is sure to grow braver and let his natural goofiness shine through. He gets along well with other dogs, both in his kennel and in playgroup, always maintaining an independent and easygoing demeanor. Toast’s journey from timid to trusting is well underway, and he’s eager to continue that transformation with the support and love of a forever family. Raise a glass and toast to Toast’s bright future—he just needs a chance to show his true self in a real home environment. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
