About Calvin
Calvin, a young German Shepherd, is on a remarkable journey toward recovery and trust. Rescued just before he faced euthanasia, he came to us deeply withdrawn and fearful. After several visits to the vet for skin and eye issues, he's making progress, but he still needs time to fully come out of his shell. Currently residing in a foster home in Albany, NY, Calvin is starting to embrace his new life, finding comfort while eating well and receiving the care he needs. Heโs looking for a forever family that understands the importance of patience; his love and loyalty will be well worth the wait. Calvin is good with other dogs, although we haven't tested him with cats. If you think you could give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves, consider filling out an application. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
