Meet Manuka! This beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd is on a quest for the loving forever family she deserves. Manuka's journey hasn’t been easy. She was surrendered to a shelter in Texas after her owner fell victim to domestic violence. To protect her from harm, the shelter classified her as Rescue Only, ensuring she could leave only with a reputable rescue organization. Despite the challenges she's faced, Manuka remains a wonderfully gentle and loving companion. She thrives alongside dogs and children. Though she hasn't met any cats yet, her feline compatibility is still up in the air. Manuka enjoys leisurely walks, chilling out on restaurant patios, and if you’re dining nearby, don’t be surprised if she politely requests a tiny taste of your meal. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and has earned the trust to roam free while you’re away. Manuka is loyal, needing little more than your company to be truly happy.
