About Oliver
Meet Oliver! If you're looking for a loyal little sidekick who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Oliver may just be your perfect match. This 5-year-old Yorkie/Dachshund/Shih Tzu mix has a sweet, silly personality that's really flourished since he joined foster care. Though he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his happy tail to start wagging and his goofy side to emerge. Oliver thrives on companionship. Whether it’s going for walks, riding in the car, stopping for a pup cup, or curling up on the couch for snuggles, he’s happiest right next to the people he loves. He walks nicely on a leash, rides wonderfully in the car, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and gets along well with both large and small dogs. He has successfully cohabited with cats too. Initially, he wasn't thought to be good with children. However, after spending some time with him, we found that he does well with respectful kids aged 5 and older. His preference is for calmer children who understand how to respect a dog's space, so homes with toddlers or very young kids wouldn’t be ideal. Oliver isn’t looking for perfection—he simply desires someone who will love him, include him in daily adventures, and provide the forever home he deserves. If you’re ready for a faithful little companion who will happily be your shadow, Oliver can't wait to meet you! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
