Meet Olive, an almost 8-week-old Chihuahua mix puppy who is bursting with energy and charm. Weighing in at just 2 pounds, Olive is expected to grow into a small adult, likely reaching 8 to 10 pounds based on her mother, who is a sweet 10-pound blend of Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound. Olive's journey began in rural New Mexico. After her mom was unexpectedly pregnant when adopted, life led them to our rescue where we stepped in to provide safety for Olive and her siblings. Olive is now ready to find her forever family! This playful puppy is looking for a family that has time and energy for training and socializing a young dog. Olive will thrive in an environment where someone works from home, preferably with kids aged 6 and up. Training classes are a must; she needs guidance to help her grow into a well-behaved companion. As a baby, Olive isn’t spayed yet, but her future adopter will get full coverage for her spay when the time comes. She will be up to date on her first puppy shot; however, it’s crucial that her new family follows through with the additional vaccinations. Public outings are a no-go until she gets her final shots. With her lovable personality and potential for growth, Olive is looking for a kind home ready to commit to this little ball of joy.
