Currently weighing just 2.5 pounds, he’s expected to be a small adult, likely reaching around 10 to 12 pounds. His mother appears to be a mix of Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound, with potential hints of Pug in the mix. Peanut's journey began in rural New Mexico where his mom was taken in from a shelter that doesn’t spay or neuter before adoption. When family circumstances changed, Peanut and his siblings were surrendered. Now he’s eager for that forever home. As a little puppy, Peanut will need a family who can provide guidance, training, and plenty of love. He thrives in an environment where someone is home often, making time for consistent training sessions. While he gets along well with other dogs and is suitable for families with children over 6, he will need a patient human to show him the ropes. At this stage, Peanut has received his first puppy shot and requires two more before he can go out into public spaces. It’s crucial that his new owner commits to this ongoing healthcare. Peanut's neuter is also mandatory, to be done before he turns one, with Farfel's covering the full cost.
