Introducing Roxy! This sweet 7-pound Yorkie mix, who sometimes seems to respond better to Sheba or Reba, is a true cuddle enthusiast. At 7 years old, her favorite spot is right in your arms, where she yearns for love and affection. Roxy's past is a tough one; her family abandoned her when they moved, leaving her to navigate life on her own. Those days are behind her now. All Roxy craves is a forever home where she can feel safe and secure, knowing she'll never be left behind again. This little girl truly delights in snuggling, and she's recently discovered the joy of giving kisses, which she shares abundantly! Currently in foster care, Roxy gets along beautifully with other small dogs and has experience living with cats. While she's not fully housebroken just yet, she diligently uses pee pads while her foster is at work and is improving each day. Roxy recently had a grooming session at Camp Belly Rub, where she showed what a good girl she is, albeit with a bit of nervousness — likely her first bath ever. She rides like a pro in the car and is learning that leashed walks can be a fun adventure. To adopt Roxy, please take note of our requirements: heartworm prevention is essential. If you cannot provide year-round preventative, kindly do not apply. We prioritize veterinary care and will conduct an interview, home visit, vet check, and require two references. Preference will be given to homes with a securely fenced yard. Roxy is in the Kingston area and is excited to find a loving family to call her own. Could that be you?
