Meet Kelsey, a delightful 4-year-old Boston Terrier who weighs 20 pounds. She's currently being fostered in Omaha, NE, after being released from a breeder. Kelsey adores the company of other dogs, and having a friendly dog at home would make her incredibly happy. She loves to play outside with her foster siblings and enjoys disappearing into the grass for fun. Kelsey is a quick learner, impressing her foster family with her ability to pick up routines. Toys have become her newfound joy, but she also cherishes cozy cuddle sessions on the couch. This little lady has recently discovered her love for cheese, so if you're willing to share, she's your girl! Though she's still working on building her trust in people, her progress is heartwarming. Kelsey is not yet completely house trained, but she is making strides. She is leash-trained for relaxed yard strolls, but she's still learning to walk properly on a leash. As for socialization, she gets along well with both dogs and cats, making her a great addition to a multi-pet home. Keep in mind she would prefer a quiet environment without young children for now. Kelsey brings a mix of shyness and confidence, and although she doesn't bark much, she may let out a soft howl from time to time. Her special needs are minimal, currently requiring a bit of ear care and eye drops; however, this is manageable and quite affordable.
