About Aurora Blu
Meet Aurora Blu! 💙 Aurora Blu is a big, beautiful girl with a heart to match. Life at the shelter has been a bit overwhelming for her, and she’s currently feeling a little anxious. However, once she feels safe, all she craves is love and attention from her people. She’s wonderfully house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys your company. Although toys aren’t really her passion, she does love a good game of chase with a ball now and then. Aurora Blu has cohabited with both dogs and cats successfully but comes with an important note: food must be kept separate. She has demonstrated food aggression around other animals, so she’ll need her own space during mealtimes. Beyond that, she thrives alongside other pets. Great with kids too, she loves soaking up affection from everyone who meets her. Aurora Blu is currently on Fluoxetine to help manage her anxiety due to the shelter’s stress. Her past family has started the process of weaning her off the medication, and she should be able to continue that transition in a loving home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and can offer a bit of patience as she acclimates, Aurora Blu will reward you with endless affection and unwavering friendship.
