She'll happily follow you around, content to be near her person. She isn't looking for grand adventures; a little time in the yard, a cozy spot on the couch, and you are all she needs to be happy. Currently, she's making great progress in her crate and is almost fully house trained. Posey gets along well with dogs of all sizes, but her timid nature means she'll thrive in a calm home with few visitors. An adults-only environment or one with respectful older teens is ideal for her to continue building confidence at her own pace. Due to her fearful tendencies and propensity to run if startled, a securely fenced yard is essential for her safety as she blossoms. Watching Posey come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding; every tail wag and cuddle feels like a gift. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
