Arthur is a 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier and Retriever mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, he's ready to find a forever family who can cherish his playful nature and affectionate spirit. Arthur was found roaming a park, always happy to greet street feeders. When he ended up at a county shelter, we knew he deserved a second chance. This outgoing boy embraces life with enthusiasm. He loves playtime, exploration, and spending quality time with people. Arthur gets along well with dogs of various sizes and has even interacted peacefully with cats and pot-bellied pigs. He has spent time around young children, done well, and may accidentally knock over smaller ones due to his excitement. Fully house-trained and crate-trained, Arthur settles nicely in his crate, can stay crated for longer periods, and loves car rides. His personality shines with curiosity, playfulness, and a love for affection. Although he may pull at first during walks, he quickly settles into routine. Arthur would do best in a home that provides regular exercise and structure and values including him in daily adventures.
