Griz arrived as a stray, and unfortunately, no one came searching for him. He’s a friendly and social guy with a calm demeanor and a genuine curiosity about the world. Griz enjoys playing with other dogs, making him a great companion for furry friends. Currently, his coat is shaved down, but he’s naturally a medium-coated dog. If you're interested in adopting Griz, please note that he is not yet neutered. He qualifies for our "Foster-to-Adopt" program, allowing you to foster him until his surgery is complete, at which point the adoption can be finalized. The adoption fee is $125.00, and all dogs from Nevada County Animal Shelter come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and are up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention before moving to their new homes.
