Meet Moe! This sweet boy was found as a stray in a rural area. At just 3 months old, he’s already had a tough start but is thriving in his foster home now. While he appears to be a Cattle Dog, he’s likely mixed with a smaller breed, resembling a Dachshund in size. As an adult, he’ll probably weigh around 15-20 lbs. Moe is a bit timid and will need some patience as he learns the world is a safe place. He’s full of typical puppy energy, playful until he crashes. Good progress has been made with house training; he doesn't go in his pen and whines when he needs to go outside. Moe is also showing improvement with leash training and is very food motivated. He loves attention but can be a little mouthy, which is normal for puppies. Redirection with toys or treats works well. Moe may be nervous around new people and can get startled by loud noises, but with time and patience, he’ll grow more confident. Moe is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered at the rescue's expense when he reaches 8-12 months of age. He’s ready for a loving home where his new family can help him flourish.
