About Link
Link is a small, affectionate Pug with a slightly nervous personality who forms strong bonds with his people. He’s a sweet and cuddly companion, happiest snuggled up on a soft blanket, curled in your lap with a toy, or dozing under your desk while you work. His walks are enjoyable but he can be anxious about the leash, especially if it brushes against his back. Link is generally obedient and eager to please, especially for treats, but he can be a bit picky about his meals sometimes needing a little encouragement or a tasty topper to entice him. He has a particular fondness for popcorn and prefers people food to dog food. Car rides are a mixed bag for Link; he likes to join in but can be nervous at times. He does not like boxes or bags, or anything that seems out of place. Currently living with another dog, he loves their companionship, often following them around and cuddling closely. He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to wrestle and cuddle with, though an attentive owner could also meet his needs alone. Link enjoys the company of cats and would do best with respectful older children, as younger kids’ rough antics can make him anxious. Comfort is key for Link, so he’d appreciate cozy napping spots and a routine. He’s not crate trained, has enjoyed the freedom of a doggie door, and is comfortable whether you work from home or leave him alone for a while. You’ll find his adorable snorts especially charming when he hopes to share your snacks. Link is a quirky little guy ready for a loving home.
