About Aggie
Aggie is a petite 1.5-year-old pit bull terrier mix who weighs about 35 pounds. She enjoys relaxed, snuggly mornings and then picks up energy as the day goes on—always happy to play fetch, tug, or sunbathe. She's kennel and house trained, and her strong food motivation has made it easy for her to learn basic commands like sit, lay down, and stay within a short time. Aggie grew up on the streets, so she has some quirks: she eats quickly, benefits from an easy feeder, and can become overstimulated, especially around small animals and small dogs due to her prey drive. She lacks social skills with other dogs and tends to get reactive in busy areas, so the ideal home for Aggie is a quieter space with a yard where she's the only dog. She does fine walking past other dogs, but play situations make her anxious and reactive. Highly intelligent and very loving, Aggie needs someone willing to provide structure and be mindful of her reactivity. She'd thrive as a running companion or in a home with space for her to roam and relax. Whoever brings Aggie home will earn a dedicated, loyal friend and playmate. Ready to fall in love?
