Meet Nigel! Nigel is a delightful 6-month-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu with a vivacious spirit and a heart full of love. This charming little guy was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, and now he’s on the lookout for a forever family to spoil him. A true social butterfly, Nigel thrives on being around people. Whether he’s following you around the house, cuddling on the sofa, or enjoying a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood, he’s happiest when he’s included in the activities. Having previously lived with children and having a good rapport with other dogs, he even met a cat recently without a fuss, making him adaptable to various family situations. Like any young pup, Nigel is still adjusting. He’s crate trained and shows an understanding of house manners, though he had a couple of accidents while settling in. With a steady routine and some patience, he’s well on his way to mastering the art of house training. Nigel enjoys his leash walks and would be thrilled to join an active family for daily adventures. Just a heads-up: he can feel a bit queasy on longer car rides, but a dose of Dramamine beforehand helps him travel comfortably. As a Shih Tzu, he’ll need regular grooming to keep his coat looking sharp. Nigel isn’t just looking for a house; he’s searching for a family that will make him an adored member for years to come.
