About Ewa Needs A Forever
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Ewa is a sweet Shih Tzu with an estimated birthdate of September 18, 2023, making her a gentle Virgo—Virgos are known for their loving and loyal nature! When Ewa first arrived at rescue, she was in rough shape from her past, badly matted and underweight, but has blossomed beautifully with attentive care. She's gained weight, healed from her past wounds, and is now looking for a family to call her own. Ewa absolutely dislikes being crated and must join a forever home where crating is not used. She thrives with a consistent routine, which helps her build confidence and trust. Ewa cherishes playtime and loves to run in the yard, so a fully enclosed fenced yard is required. She’s very dog social, enjoys being held, and has a soft, cuddly side. While she’s not keen on car rides, she’s house trained, spayed (and her previous hernia has been repaired), and fully up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Ewa will do best with children aged seven or older and a dedicated family ready to shower her with love and attention. Her adoption also requires living within an hour of Birmingham, MI, a home visit, and, if over age one, participation in an obedience class. This loving companion is eager for a forever family to help her continue to thrive. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
