About Scout
Meet Scout, a young and sensitive pup who transformed from a nervous little soul into a loving companion. When he first arrived at the shelter, Scout was shy and uncertain, but stepping into a home brought out his true, enthusiastic nature. This 10-month-old boy adores being close to his people. He nestles right under your arm, joining in whatever you’re doing, whether it’s watching TV or settling in for bedtime. Scout is not just a pet; he’s a true companion. Currently learning the ropes, Scout is well on his way with potty training and crate training. He’s calm in the car, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and shows no signs of aggression. There's no resource guarding or destructive behavior here; just a sweet boy figuring out the world at his own pace. While Scout can be a bit shy around newcomers, he quickly warms up once he feels safe. A home where someone is around most of the time would suit him best, as he does experience some separation anxiety. His favorite activities include playing with sticks and snuggling up to his humans. Scout is 30 lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. For an adoption fee of $350, he’s ready to bring joy into your home. Make Scout a part of your family – he’s ready to love you!
