About Blueberry Toaster Strudel
Blueberry Toaster Strudel is the couch hippo you never knew you were missing. She spent over six months surviving on Detroit streets, raising puppies under a porch and narrowly avoiding people. When she was finally brought to safety on a bitter December night, nobody knew what to expect. Instead of cowering or snapping, she melted the moment she settled in—proving she just wanted comfort, affection, and someone to notice her. Strudel is as sweet as her name implies. She loves to cuddle, crowd in close, and charm anyone who tells her she's cute (she hears it a lot). Her history is hard, but she holds nothing against the world—she just wants to love and be loved. Strudel is about three years old, weighs in around 55 lbs, and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She’s totally house trained and crate trained, and she picked up on basic commands right away. She loves toys, treats, and hanging out with other dogs. She’s heartworm positive (treatment is being covered by the rescue and it isn't contagious) and walks with a slight limp from an old leg injury; neither slows her down much. Strudel deserves someone steady and kind who’s ready for a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate goof who’s easy to root for, she’s waiting in Troy, MI.
