About Midge
Midge endured a rough start chained outdoors in Detroit, surviving harsh conditions and neglect. Thanks to determined rescuers, her days of tangled chains and cold nights are behind her. Safe and loved, she’s now learning what a real home feels like. This compact 41-pound girl is past the puppy stage at about two to three years old, but she’s still got plenty of years ahead for walks, naps, and quiet adventures. Midge is low-key and spends most of her time lounging around or cuddling. She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and knows "sit." In her foster home, she gets along seamlessly with other dogs and is great with kids. Her energy is mellow, her demeanor is gentle, and she’s quick to show affection. All the hard parts—heartworm treatment, recovery—are behind her. Now, she’s ready for the best chapter of her life. The only thing missing is a family who sees her for the soft-hearted, easygoing companion she is. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
