About Walter Wigglebutt

Meet Walter Wigglebutt. Pulled from an awful start this January, Walter is a living testament to grit and good-natured stubbornness. He arrived rail-thin, but now he’s a sturdy, joy-filled boy who embraces each day—even with vision loss, heartworm, and a cancer diagnosis on his list. He has about 80% vision loss but you’ll notice he doesn’t let much hold him back. Walter relishes social time, craves companionship, and is always ready for a backyard ramble or a soft nap indoors. He’s famous for greeting life—and people—with optimism and a steady tail wag. Walter’s looking for a home with patient, dog-friendly companions. He does well with dogs who don’t mind his social quirks and misses with body language, but he needs a cat-free space. All humans in Walter’s new home should be 13 or older. He’s house trained, neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. At six years old, he’s proven adaptable and ready for the quieter, joyful years he deserves. With Aries as his sun sign, don’t be surprised if his courage and drive shine brightest—Walter isn’t finished exploring what life has to offer. Click apply to start the adoption process.
