About Pluto

Summer is here, which means it's that time of year again. Lots of kittens and older cats like Pluto are looking for new homes. When you adopt one pet, you really save two. Consider adopting Pluto, a neutered male domestic short haired grey tabby and white. At about 8 months old, Pluto is fully vaccinated and eager to find a loving home. Pluto is hoping to find a forever family. While he can be adopted solo, he'd really love to go home with his brother, Jupiter, who is also a grey tabby and white. They both came to the shelter as kittens and are still waiting for their chance. Pluto is friendly and playful, enjoys wet food, and loves all kinds of toys. This is his opportunity to be a kitten and he’s asking for someone special to take him home. Pluto gets along well with other cats, making him a good candidate for a multi-pet household. He also does well with older kids. As for dogs, we aren’t sure how he'd react, but he certainly has the potential. If you’re searching for a sweet, playful companion, Pluto is here waiting for you. Make an appointment to meet him and see if he's the right fit for your home. Please call 219-922-1766 to arrange a visit with Pluto (and Jupiter)! An adoption application is available online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org. Let's help give Pluto the home he deserves!
