FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Lockett! This delightful, 1.5-year-old Staffy/Labrador Retriever mix weighs around 40 lbs and came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. Lockett is a sweet and happy girl, ready to find a forever family to join her on all of life’s adventures. Lockett is intelligent, affectionate, and eager to please. She loves spending time with her people and has a keen interest in learning new things. Her trainable nature makes her an excellent candidate for ongoing training and fun activities that engage her mind. One of Lockett’s favorite pastimes is exploring the great outdoors. She walks well on a leash and would be thrilled to join a household that enjoys walks, hikes, or road trips. Whether it’s a quick stroll in the neighborhood or a full day of adventure, Lockett shines when involved. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has done great with them, so a friendly canine companion in the home would make her very happy. Lockett could also thrive as an only dog as long as her adopters keep her socialized and provide plenty of opportunities to explore.
