About Smokey
Meet Smokey! This handsome 7-year-old cat is searching for a loving home during a challenging time for his owner, who is currently facing cancer treatment. Smokey's owner, unfortunately, can no longer keep him due to housing changes, making this a pressing situation for both of them. Originally a feral cat living beneath his owner's home, Smokey has developed a strong bond through love and patience. While a foster home is ideal, his owner is open to finding a permanent family that will prioritize his safety and happiness. Smokey is a bit shy and prefers the company of a single person. He thrives in a calm environment, making him suitable for a home where he can have some independence, such as an indoor/outdoor setup or a barn setting. He will do best in a space away from busy roads, with understanding individuals who know that building trust takes time. He may not get along well with dogs unless they are already accustomed to cats. Older children who can appreciate his gentle demeanor would be a better fit. If you think you can provide a loving environment for Smokey, please reach out to Stacey at 307-690-3190. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
