About Katya
Meet Katya! At just 18 months old and around 50 pounds, she is still very much a playful puppy despite her recent role as a devoted mother to eight puppies. Now that her babies are ready for their own adventures, she’s eager for fun and affection in a loving forever home. Katya delights in playing fetch, joyfully chasing balls and zooming around the yard with her terrier foster sister. She explores her surroundings with curiosity and might occasionally roam around with a slipper—an endearing reminder of her youthful spirit. In the home, she craves companionship and loves curling up on the couch for cuddles and pets. While she’s not a big barker, she will alert you if someone approaches. At night, she willingly sleeps in her crate, peacefully resting without fuss. Katya has mastered the doggie door and has been accident-free ever since. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown kindness around young children. She may take a little longer to warm up to men due to past hardships, but once trust is built, she showers affection generously. One of her most charming traits is how attentively she listens to her humans, gazing into their eyes with a loving understanding. Katya is a gentle and joyful companion who truly deserves a happy ending. If you want to be part of her next chapter, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let them know where you live. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
