About Lily Mae
Lily Mae’s start in life wasn’t easy—she and her siblings were left in a cardboard box out in the woods. One of her sisters bravely wandered out in search of help, which ultimately saved them all. Thanks to a quick-thinking rescuer and lots of kindness from volunteers, Lily Mae got the safety and veterinary care she needed, plus plenty of warmth and gentle attention. Two of her siblings already have homes, and Lily Mae is now ready for her own permanent family in Franklin, TN. She’s a Lab/Catahoula mix with short, shiny black fur and expressive ears. At just four months old, she’s playful and curious, just like most puppies, but there’s a softness and gentle spirit to her that’s hard to miss. Lily Mae loves snuggling, melts into cuddles, and listens to bedtime lullabies. She’s learning to sit, making great progress with potty training, and adapting to new routines quickly. She gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, so she could fit well into all sorts of households.
