PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION VIPER IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS/VINTON, IOWA. Viper is one of three surviving siblings who made their way into rescue after a difficult start to life. Sadly, several of their littermates did not survive after being bitten by snakes. Viper and his siblings were among the lucky ones and are now safe, loved, and ready to find forever homes of their own. Viper is an approximately 3-month-old Black Lab mix with the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and snuggly sweetness. He loves his chew toys, playing with his brother, and exploring everything around him. After a good play session, hes more than happy to curl up in your lap or cuddle up next to you for a nap. Viper does well with dogs, cats, and children. One of his favorite activities is chasing the younger kids around the yard and being part of all the fun. He is still learning the basics of puppy life, including potty training, crate training, and leash walking, but he is making good progress and continues to improve every day. Like any puppy his age, Viper will thrive in a home committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into a confident adult dog. His sweet personality and love of people make him a wonderful candidate for many different types of families. Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development! Viper will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
