Copper is one of three surviving siblings who made their way into rescue after a difficult start to life. Sadly, several of their littermates did not survive after being bitten by snakes. Copper and his siblings were among the lucky ones and are now safe, loved, and ready to find forever homes of their own. Copper is an approximately 3-month-old Black Lab mix with a sweet, affectionate personality. He loves playing with toys, spending time with his brother, and then curling up beside his people for some quality cuddle time. Whether hes playing or relaxing, Copper is happiest when hes close to his family. Copper does well with dogs, cats, and children. He is still learning all the important puppy skills, including potty training, crate training, and leash walking, but he is making good progress and continues to improve every day. He enjoys attention, loves being involved in family activities, and has the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly companionship. Like any puppy his age, Copper will thrive in a home committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into a confident adult dog. He is eager to learn and ready to become a loyal family companion. Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development! Copper will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
