About Dakota
Dakota is a delightful 4-month-old Lab mix with a vibrant personality. Found abandoned on a rural road in Oklahoma, she’s now thriving in foster care and ready to find her forever family. Dakota is energetic, smart, and just a touch sassy, making her an entertaining companion. She adores toys, particularly plushies, and loves to chase balls in the yard. Great with kids and especially fond of her foster family’s dog, she brings joy wherever she goes. Currently crate-trained and working on potty training, Dakota is also learning leash manners and basic commands like sit and wait. Her eagerness to learn and play with toys makes training enjoyable for everyone involved. Dakota thrives on attention and would be an excellent match for an active family who can help her grow into a confident adult dog. Early socialization is critical for puppies, so Dakota is looking for a loving home where she can continue to interact with children and other pets. She will be adopted under a spay contract, and her adoption fee is $500, with $100 reimbursed upon proof of spay. Dakota is up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventive care, dewormed, and microchipped. If you think you're the right fit for Dakota, please submit your adoption application today!
