URGENT FOSTER NEEDED WITHIN 24 HOURS This tiny girl has already fought so hard to stay alive. Now she needs someone to fight for her future. Meet our 41⁄2-year-old Miniature Pinscher, weighing just 12.4 pounds. On May 26, she arrived at our clinic after being brutally attacked by another dog. Her wounds were severe. The infection had taken hold, and there were moments when we truly didn't know if she would survive despite aggressive treatment and around-the-clock care. But she did. Because she wanted to live. And because one of our incredible veterinary technicians opened her home and heart, fostering her for the past two weeks while she recovered. Through countless medications, wound care treatments, sleepless nights, and endless love, this little fighter pulled through. Today, we received heartbreaking news. Her owner, who loves her very much, has made the difficult decision that she cannot safely take her back. She fears this little dog could be attacked again by the same dog that nearly took her life. Now this sweet girl has nowhere to go. We need a dedicated foster home in the next 24 hours. She is looking for: A quiet home An individual or couple No children No other dogs Cats are okay Someone who is home most of the time Like many dogs who have experienced trauma, she struggles with separation anxiety and needs time to feel safe.
