Meet Peach! This lovely 4-year-old Basset Hound has a sweet heart that's as delightful as her name. Her journey to Suncoast Basset Rescue Inc. has been a winding path. After becoming separated from her original family, she was found wandering and briefly reunited with her owners before they had to rehome her due to a move. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan took her in, but after many attempts to find her a new family, he reached out for help. Peach has slimmed down to about 55 pounds after a healthier diet and regular exercise. She was recently diagnosed as heartworm positive and has started a slow-kill treatment, but her spirit remains bright. This outgoing and affectionate girl thrives on companionship and enjoys long walks, dog park adventures, and being part of the family action.
