About Honey
Honey’s journey is a testament to resilience and hope. At only 5 months, this adorable puppy was rescued from the streets of Detroit, alone and frightened. Shortly after her rescue, she overcame a serious illness, Parvovirus, showcasing her fighting spirit with the support of dedicated vets. Now, Honey is happy, healthy, and eager to find her forever family. As a young pup, Honey is still navigating the world and will thrive in an environment that supports her growth. Her new family will need to focus on training her basic commands and house manners, incorporating patience and positive reinforcement along the way. Due to her past, she will need to be the only dog in the home, or live with a healthy, vaccinated dog, after proper introductions. If there are cats, slow introductions are a must. Honey loves playtime and will need an array of toys to keep her entertained, especially chew toys to satisfy her puppy instincts. A family with children aged 8 and older will be ideal for her. After everything she has endured, Honey deserves a loving home that offers her safety and affection. Could you be the one to give this brave girl the forever home she’s been dreaming of?
