About Sally

Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Sally! Sally is a one year old pit mix who has been searching for her forever family and is waiting patiently for the right home. She’s best as the only dog but could potentially live with a calm, similarly sized companion if the fit is perfect. Due to her size and lively energy, Sally needs a home with older kids (age 8+) instead of young children, and she isn’t a fan of cats. A fenced yard is non-negotiable for Sally since she is happiest playing fetch and being outdoors—she delights in all four seasons, from snowy days to beach outings with her trusty lifejacket. Walks, car rides, and soft, fluffy blankets for cuddling are some of her favorite things! Sally is fully house and crate trained, easily transitions into her crate at bedtime, but equally loves sleeping on the bed. While she’d enjoy a family whose members are home often, it’s not required. Food motivated and incredibly quick to learn, Sally knows several commands like sit, stay, lay down, paw, and more. She’s a great watch dog and always alerts you to unfamiliar sounds. Sally’s future family should be patient and ready to continue working on her leash/barrier reactivity; she simply wants to greet everyone and explore, but sometimes gets frustrated when held back. With all her wonderful qualities, Sally can’t wait to finally find her perfect match. Ready to meet her? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
