About Menchie

Meet Menchie, a charming little guy at about 3 years old and under 7 pounds. This tiny bundle of joy is the dad to one of our litters and, after joining our rescue, we discovered he has hip dysplasia. We're aiming to perform an FHO surgery to help improve his quality of life, but our first priority is finding him a loving forever home. Menchie can be a bit shy when he first arrives in a new home, so a patient owner who can give him some time to adjust is crucial. Once he feels comfortable, he's all about being a lap dog and soaking up love. He thrives with people who can spend time with him or take him on adventures. He's making excellent progress with housebreaking, and some fosters have successfully used a belly band during the adjustment period. Menchie is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He’ll come home with a goody bag that includes essentials like a collar and leash, toys, chews, and a Kong. Remember, adopting a rescue like Menchie involves giving him time to transition and settle in- think of it as a journey that unfolds over three months. Our adoptions are conducted in Stanwood, and a reduced adoption fee will be discussed with approved homes.
