About Spud
Spud is a young pup looking for his happily ever after. This sweet 6-month-old Lab mix needs a foster or forever home, ideally with a welcoming resident dog who can help guide him as he adjusts to new experiences. Currently, he’s a little on the shy side, so a patient adopter will be essential in helping him come out of his shell. We know Spud loves other dogs, but we haven’t yet observed him with cats or kids. He’s full of playful puppy energy and enjoys exploring before snuggling up after a day of fun. His journey began in a South Carolina shelter, and now he’s hoping to find his way to the DC area for a fresh start, where he can feel safe and loved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who promises lifelong love in return, Spud might be your perfect match. Let’s give him the forever home he’s dreaming of! What are you waiting for?
