No cape needed—this handsome young Lab mix is the total package: sweet, friendly, and wonderfully easy to love. At a perfect medium size of around 40 pounds, Batman will fit beautifully into just about any home. He's a calm, quiet, and easygoing boy who prefers kindness and companionship over chaos and commotion. Batman has a gentle, submissive nature, and he gets along great with people and other dogs. We have learned that Batman tested positive for heartworm, but with treatment provided by K-9 Lifesavers, he'll be feeling fine in no time. So, whether you're going for a relaxed walk, enjoying a cozy evening at home, or simply looking for a best friend to share life with, Batman is ready to be your devoted sidekick. All he's missing is a loving forever family to call his own. Apply today and come meet Batman—because every hero deserves a home. To learn more about heartworm please visit: https://www.webmd.com/pets/dogs/features/heartworms-in-dogs-facts-and-myths Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
