About Trillium
Trillium is a spirited blue merle Border Collie with a personality as bright as her fur. At just a year and a half old, she’s full of energy and joy, ready to leap into your heart. While she may lack some training, her playful nature more than makes up for it. Trillium loves to run around, play with her toys, and cuddle up with her humans. She does well with other dogs but will enthusiastically alert you to any passing squirrels! This clever girl has quickly learned commands like 'sit', 'come', and 'down', and she’s eager to learn more. Trillium needs guidance on leash walking and focuses best with her family close by. When it comes to strangers, she might sound the alarm, but a few treats and some patience quickly calm her. She loves wiggling around in the grass but has a slight aversion to baths. Though she has adjusted to crate training, she needs support when left alone, with soothing music helping her feel better. Trillium is seeking a dedicated, active home willing to invest time into training and establishing boundaries using positive reinforcement. She’s ready to shine with a little patience and a lot of love, and she’ll return that affection tenfold. If you're ready for an adventure and some fun, Trillium might just be the pup for you!
