About Konrad
Konrad is a one-year-old, handsome, smooth-coated Border Collie seeking a forever home. Originally born on a farm and later abandoned, he has a sweet, trusting nature that shines through despite his rough start. Currently thriving in a foster home, he enjoys the company of three canine companions, including two fellow Border Collies. His playful side emerges as he engages with them, especially during games of fetch. Konrad's gentle nibbles in the morning and during meal prep show his endearing personality. Highly intelligent and eager to learn, he is making progress with crate and house training and walks well on a leash. While he has no sensitivity to loud noises, his herding instincts make him attracted to small animals, so he is not suitable for homes with cats or small pets. Konrad requires a securely fenced yard; he’ll need an active lifestyle with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. With dedication, Konrad will be a loyal, affectionate companion.
