About Addie

Addie is a loving, almost 4-year-old purebred yellow Labrador available for foster or foster-to-adopt through Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue. She was surrendered when her owner moved into a smaller apartment, and although it was a tough decision, her former owner wanted the best for Addie. Having been with her family since she was just 4 months old, Addie is affectionate, friendly, and playful. She has lived with 5 and 9-year-old children and got along well with them. Addie can be a bit shy around strangers, so she needs an adopter who will have the patience to help her come out of her shell. Once comfortable, she becomes a happy girl who loves attention and butt scratches. Addie enjoys playing tug and fetch, and she's treat-motivated. She's also up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and on preventatives. While she has lived with a cat and is used to children, her interactions with other dogs have been limited; however, she walks by them on a leash without issues. If you’re interested in giving Addie a loving home, please reach out to Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue. Click apply to start the adoption process.
