About Kirk
Meet Kirk! This 3-year-old Aussie mix is a bundle of joy, weighing in just under 50 pounds. Having come from a high-risk shelter, he's successfully completed heartworm treatment and is now on the lookout for his forever home. Kirk is the total package: playful, affectionate, and always eager for adventure. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a weekend road trip, he thrives on being included in family activities. In training, he's food motivated and a joy to work with. Kirk is great on a leash and enjoys car rides. His easygoing demeanor makes him an absolute pleasure to have around. Kirk gets along well with other dogs and is wonderful with kids, bringing a loving nature that makes him an ideal family companion. After a day of fun, he’s ready to curl up beside you for some snuggles. Toys are his delight; whether he’s carrying one around or playing fetch, he’s all about fun. Kirk would thrive in an active family or with an individual who includes their dog in daily life, especially if there are other dogs around for him to play with. While Kirk is fantastic with children, he does have a tendency to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. This happy-go-lucky dog has so much love to give and is ready to start a new chapter with a family of his own. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy and cuddle partner, Kirk may just be the perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
