About Lynda Carter
Lynda Carter is a resilient 8-month-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who’s made an impressive transformation. She came from a tough background, arriving nearly feral and with hardly any exposure to people or the world around her. Over time, with consistent, gentle training and a lot of patience, she’s learning to trust and explore the world without fear. Lynda Carter still needs some extra time to warm up to new faces and situations. She’ll thrive in a peaceful home with someone who can respect her pace and focus on slow, steady progress. Once comfortable, her sweet and sometimes cuddly side appears, and she does show a playful, lively spirit underneath the caution. She needs an adopter willing to continue with positive reinforcement and offer consistency, predictability, and plenty of reassurance. Helping Lynda Carter grow into her best self will take commitment, but for the right person, the reward is watching her confidence—and bond with you—grow a little more every day. She’s looking for someone who gets how special this journey can be together. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Lynda Carter
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Lynda Carter's Australian Shepherd/Hound background means she's likely to do best in a stable home that offers plenty of space and a predictable routine. These dogs are happiest when they have both physical and mental stimulation available.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
With her Australian Shepherd and Hound heritage, Lynda Carter would benefit from regular access to a yard or outdoor area where she can run and explore. A securely fenced yard is ideal, but daily walks and exercise work as well.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Most Australian Shepherd/Hound mixes are gentle and can do well with respectful children, especially if socialized from a young age. With Lynda Carter’s more timid personality, she may prefer a household with older kids who can understand her need for patience and space.
