About Penguin
Meet Penguin! Penguin is a gentle, three-year-old, 68-pound soul who is still discovering that the world can be a welcoming place. Initially shy and unsure around unfamiliar faces and situations, he quickly warms up to his trusted humans and shows an affectionate side. With a little encouragement, this sweet boy displays his loving nature that makes him truly delightful. While he's still learning how to engage with other dogs, Penguin shows curiosity with adorable play bows but tends to shy away when playtime gets intense. He does like to chase occasionally, but he is patient and eager to learn. With the right guidance, he’ll gain valuable social skills and grow in confidence. He's not particularly bothered by cats, only acknowledging them before moving on to more exciting things. Penguin's biggest hurdle is building his confidence, requiring an understanding adopter who can take their time to foster trust and stability. He thrives with calm, gentle handlers who can help him navigate new experiences. Penguin's ideal home includes a securely fenced yard, a patient and confident companion ready to guide him, and no young children. He may not be the type to leap into new situations headfirst, but he will slowly and surely win your heart. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will blossom with your support, Penguin could be the one for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
