About Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin is a striking 2-year-old male Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix with a warm chocolate brown coat and a charming demeanor. Rescued from the streets of Cutler, Ohio, he was found without a collar or microchip, prompting a mandatory stray hold that concluded with no one coming forward for him. His appearance is enhanced by his long, slender muzzle, expressive brown eyes, and large floppy ears. Since entering care, Benjamin has shown off his sweet and easygoing personality, remaining calm and friendly, especially during a recent outdoor photo session. At 41.8 lbs, he’s in a perfect medium size range and walks gently on a leash. Although he isn’t house trained yet, he is currently available for foster or foster-to-adopt through the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.
