Jeremiah is a cute 2-year old male Terrier mix who arrived at HSOV on June 19, 2026 after he was found on Front Street in Marietta Ohio socializing at his favorite cafe' (Jeremiah's Coffee House), so we couldn't resist giving him the name Jeremiah (smile). Unfortunately, this little guy was by himself and must have slipped away from his owner/family. Jeremiah was wearing a collar but there was neither an ID tag nor a dog license tag on his collar ... And he was not microchipped. Jeremiah has a white medium-haired coat with brown markings, a long tail, and an adorable Terrier face with a patch of brown around his right eye, scruffy whiskers, and large floppy brown ears. These photos of Jeremiah were taken late in the afternoon on June 19th. He has a happy, super-friendly personality and was quick to scamper to whichever side of the kennel that the paparazzi was snapping the camera shutter. Jeremiah appeared to have been making his own excitement by splashing in his large water bowl. Jeremiah weighs approximately 30 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Jeremiah will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him proof of ownership. Surely someone is frantically searching for this sweet young man. We look forward to taking more flattering pictures of Jeremiah in the green grass (when his beautiful coat is dry and fluffed up) if he is not reclaimed.
