About Ox Urgent

Ox Urgent is in a critical situation. This young Shepherd mix is just over a year old and currently at risk at the shelter due to an upper respiratory infection. He really needs a home quickly to avoid euthanasia. He has a beautiful coat, a blend of brown, tan, and white. Since May 22, 2026, he's been waiting for his forever home at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Ox hasn't been spayed yet, and while he's not housetrained, he is fully vaccinated, which is a plus for any potential adopters. The Companion Animal Protection Services (CAPS) is partnering with the shelter to find Ox a loving home. Due to the high number of abandoned dogs in the community, space is limited, and Ox is at risk of being overlooked. Please consider giving him the chance he deserves. This is your opportunity to rescue a wonderful dog who needs you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
