About Lidz

Meet Lidz, a dapper black-and-white Domestic Shorthair who came to us from Warren Animal Control. When he first arrived, Lidz was underweight and battling a severe upper respiratory infection. Thanks to dedicated medical care and plenty of love, he’s made an incredible recovery. Lidz has a couple of unique congenital conditions: eyelid agenesis, which affects the development of his eyelids, and microphthalmia, meaning his eyes are smaller than average. His vision isn’t perfect, but he navigates his surroundings with ease. What he lacks in eyesight, he more than makes up for with his affectionate nature. This gentle soul loves to cuddle and is a professional lap warmer. He adores being close to his people and will serenade you with soothing purrs while soaking up attention. Lidz would thrive in a calm home where he feels safe. He enjoys the company of other cats, so having a feline friend would be beneficial for him. Dogs, on the other hand, can be intimidating, so a dog-free environment or one with very calm dogs would be ideal. While he does well with children, he would be happiest in a quieter household. This resilient boy is now ready to find a family that will cherish him. If you’re seeking a loving companion, Lidz can’t wait to meet you! Adoption Fee: $125. All age-appropriate vaccinations are up to date, and he has been altered. If you believe Lidz could be a perfect addition to your family, please reach out to us. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
