About Black Panther "bp"

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Black Panther (also known as BP), a strikingly handsome black domestic shorthair who will quickly melt your heart. Just under five years old and already neutered, BP first entered rescue as a stray, leaving much of his past a mystery, but his bright and gentle spirit has truly come to light. BP is definitely a cat’s cat; he thrives in the company of other felines and has a special knack for looking out for his furry companions. He’s especially gentle, protective, and loving towards his cat family. BP prefers the company of other cats over people and would be happiest in a home where he can bond, play, and snuggle with feline friends. Although reserved with humans at first, he blossoms with patience, consistency, and kindness—recently even allowing volunteers to pet him. BP is ideal for a calm home that understands the beauty of letting a cat adjust at his own pace. He is fully up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, regularly treated for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, and has tested negative for FeLV. For added peace of mind, the rescue encourages a fecal check soon after adoption and will supply any necessary follow-up treatment, free of charge if needed. When you adopt BP, you’ll receive a copy of his microchip form (the microchip is located between his shoulder blades), and the registration will be handled initially by the rescue. You’ll also get a signed adoption contract, his vet records, educational handouts, and a supply of food to ease his transition. BP is a litter box pro, but like all cats, he should be introduced to his new home and animal family slowly—and the rescue will provide thoughtful guidance for this process. Born under the sign of Pisces, BP may have an extra sweet and intuitive nature. The rescue will do everything to ensure a smooth transition for BP into your loving home. If you’re ready for a loyal feline companion who shines among other cats, Black Panther could be just what your family needs. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
